Click the "Orientation" button on the ribbon to check the printing orientation. If the worksheet is set to Portrait, the worksheet prints across the shortest length of the paper.

To simultaneously change the orientation of multiple sheets, hold the "Ctrl" key and click the applicable sheet tabs. If you only have one sheet in the workbook, it is already selected.

Portrait orientation produces a page that is longer than it is wide. The default margins are set at one inch for the standard 8.5” by 11” page.
