A Florida man hit a Port St. Lucie officer with a motorcycle while fleeing on March 23 before he attempted to enter vehicles of "unsuspecting customers" in a drive-thru, according to law enforcement.

The crash occurred at the Stone Hill and Roode roads intersection, police said.

A man accused of having a 3-year-old on his motorcycle with no safety gear and driving under the influence was sentenced Monday in Mercer County Court.
