Google's Gemini-powered feature that lets you generate images in Google Docs is finally making its way to Android.

The Google Docs app for Android has long lagged behind its web counterpart. It lacks the same navigation features and organizational abilities of the web version, or what you'd find on a Chromebook.

Just like we already have on the web, new Canvas output options could soon be coming to the Gemini app on Android.

Google might soon add some Gemini features to the Docs app to give you some assistance. As you can see in the image below, there’s the Gemini icon along with toolbars at the top.

In version 1.25.062.00.90 of the Google Docs Android app, we discovered a Bookmark feature. While this feature has been available on the web and iOS, it has not yet been made available on Android.
